About Us
The Skills Centre is a non-profit strengthening rural and industrial communities and workplaces in BC through workforce skills development, training services, social development and poverty reduction programming. It offers skills training and wellness programs for youth, mature workers and equity deserving groups to build a caring community of skilled, productive and engaged people. The Skills Centre is a certified living wage employer that has stepped up to pay direct and contract employees wages sufficient to support families.
We are CARF certified and our new building in downtown Trail is Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certified. It is one of the greenest, most accessible buildings in the city, and we offer meeting rooms and office space for rent for businesses and non-profits.
